This auction will be held by Thierry de Maigret at the Hôtel Drouot at 13.30 local time on Friday 17 July. It includes a variety of frames – some fine examples, priced correspondingly, and some more reasonable, workaday frames; see the entire catalogue online here, and in digital book form here.
Lot 75: 18th century French Louis XVI NeoClassical baguette in carved giltwood, with centred spiral ribbon below top edge, and beading at sight edge, in the style of Etienne-Louis Infroit; 34.5 x 49 cm.; estimate €600-800
